Who We Are

Our Team

We are committed to serving as a loving, cooperative team, believing that teamwork best reflects the glory of God.

Brenda Neuenschwander

International House’s inception in 1998 came from Brenda’s participation in a prayer initiative for the 1040 Window. God soon opened doors for her to be in the homes of local international women, teaching them English. As that opportunity grew and grew, she recruited her friends to help her. In 2001 she founded Local GO!, which in 2004 became International House, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.

Brenda graduated with a B.A. in Social Work from Oral Roberts University in 1973. She earned her MSW in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma in 1976 and received a B.A. in Pastoral Studies Ministries from Taylor University in 1999.

Ann Heign

Ann joined the staff at International House in 2015. She volunteered with IHouse in a variety of ways over the span of 10 years. She has traveled extensively overseas on short term mission trips, both as participant and leader.

Ann is responsible for program implementation and infrastructure, personnel, public relations, and administration. Ann has a B.S. in Clinical Psychology from Trine University. She has also completed Perspectives courses and held leadership and teaching roles in her church.

Heather Morris

Heather is the newest member of the IHouse team, coming on board in October 2016. Prior to that, she was CFO at a local retail establishment for 14 years. She has traveled overseas on several short term medical mission trips and has spent time volunteering at a pregnancy resource center and within her church.

Heather is responsible for managing the Glad Nations department of IHouse as well as assisting Ann in various programming and administrative functions within IHouse. Heather has an A.S. in Applied Science and is a Certified Medical Assistant. She has also completed Perspectives courses and is active in leadership and teaching positions at her church.

Although Bill uses his entrepreneurial expertise to build successful businesses, his true passion is investing in the lives of people. Bill has a heart for developing and enjoying a diversity of rich relationships across the globe.

He has led multiple international missions trips as well.

Through his work on a variety of boards for over a decade he has had the privilege of taking an active role in supporting multiple ministries and non-profit organizations

Stan Church

Stan Church retired from a 40-year career in computers in 2016. He is trying his best to not just keep busy, instead focusing on ministry opportunities. He volunteers at Parkview, spends one day a week on the family farm and also helps out with a Burmese legal clinic. Coming up calendar entries will most likely include the Perspectives class as well as mentoring young men at Emmanuel Community Church.
